CNC Burner/Operator
We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC burner/operator. Critical functions of your role will be to manufacture burned parts following pre-programmed schematics and dimensions, with a strong focus on quality and keeping the level of work consistent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up plasma and oxyfuel burning table and select materials that are required for each work order
Independently operate CNC machines following the guidelines of our production programmer
Efficiently nest work orders for maximum production
Manage all plate inventory, with respect to job charging materials and maintaining accurate inventory counts
Ensure quality production at all times in addition to proper operation of equipment
Maintain traceability on all jobs
Mark materials and package parts
Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
Keep the work area clean and organized at all times
Perform all daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment
Always comply with safety protocol
Comply with policies related to quality of work at all times
Required Experience/Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC burn table.
Basic math skills
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges.
Pay Range:
Starting at $27/hr, depending on experience
Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen.
